We are privileged to have participated at the World Malaria Day event in Kibuku. This important event offered a platform to showcase our latest advancements in manufacturing of malaria RDT kits with pLDH as an added target to detect malaria parasites that have lost HRP2 targets.
Here are the highlights:
- We unveiled the first locally manufactured Malaria Pf-Xpat – HRP2/pLDH RDT Kit in the Great Lakes Region! This innovative kit was presented to esteemed guests including the Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, CEO of Global Fund Peter Sands, Minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng, Permanent Secretary of Ministry Health Diana Atwine and other dignitaries.
This marks a significant step forward in the fight against malaria in the region. The locally manufactured RDT kit will increase access to quick, easy, affordable and reliable malaria diagnosis.
