Dr. Cedric is a scientist and founding director of Microhaem Scientifics and medical supplies Ltd Trading as Microhaem Scientifics (MHS) group of companies.
Dr. Souleh Semalulu
Head of Vaccines Division
Dr. Souleh Semalulu joined Vaccine Access initiative Ltd, in Uganda (VAI), a subsidiary of Microhaem Scientifics in April 2023- to head the Vaccine Division and champion the Vaccine Manufacturing landscape in Uganda and Africa Region.
Dr. John Paul Buyondo
Chief Manufacturing Officer
Dr. John Paul Buyondo joined Microhaem Scientifics in 2023, He is our Chief Manufacturing officer and he has over 10 years of work experience in world-renowned Manufacturing Plants in the USA.
Prof. James Bruce Kirenga
Co Founder, Chairman BoD and Scientific Adviser
Dr. Bruce is a Chief Research Scientist and founding Director of the Makerere University Lung Institute (MLI). He is also a Senior Lecturer (Pulmonary Medicine) in the Department of Medicine, Makerere University.
Scott A. Gubler
President, CEO and Founder of Deseret Laboratories Incorporated. Partner Deseret Microhaem Pharmaceuticals Ltd
Graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Received a Juris Doctorate from J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1980. Past President and board member for the Zion’s National Parks advisory council (Zion’s forever Project).
Mrs. Diana Nahabwe Akwesigye

Dianah has vast management experience spanning through her various roles as Ass. Managing Director MHS, Managing Director Crestline Farms Ltd, and Laboratory Technologist at Ishaka Adventist Hospital.
Counsel Marvin Ssebugwawo
Company Secretary
He is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with over 13 years of experience. Marvin specializes in corporate and commercial law to wit; financial institutions law, international commercial transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs.
Kenneth Bunkeddeko
Technical Director, BoD Member
Bunkeddeko Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Makerere University Kampala. He currently serves as Assistant Manager at CIPLA Quality Chemicals Ltd, overseeing medicine production, validations, and audits. With previous roles in sales, marketing, and pharmacy internships, Kenneth has extensive experience in pharmaceutical care, product assessment, and inventory management. He holds multiple certifications, including membership in the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda.
Andrew Mukungu
Director QMS
Andrew Mukungu is a registered pharmacist based in Kampala, Uganda, with extensive experience in quality management and regulatory affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Makerere University and a Master of Science in Biotechnology Innovation and Regulatory Sciences from Purdue University. Andrew has held various leadership roles, including Quality Management System Director at Microhaem Scientifics and Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager at East African Medical Vitals.
